Flash: Powertrain Diagnostic And System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module \(PCM\) with the latest available software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp \(MIL\) illumination. Upon further investigation, the technician may find one or more of the following DTCs: P1186 \- Cylinder 1 Oil Supply Solenoid Valve Switch Off Time Out Of Range P0128 \- Cylinder 2 Oil Supply Solenoid Valve Switch Off Time Out Of Range P0101 \- Mass Air Flow Sensor "A" Circuit Performance. P1066 \- Cylinder 1 Oil Supply Solenoid Valve Switch Off Time Out Of Range. P1068 \- Cylinder 2 Oil Supply Solenoid Valve Switch Off Time Out Of Range. P106A \- Cylinder 3 Oil Supply Solenoid Valve Switch Off Time Out Of Range. P106C \- Cylinder 4 Oil Supply Solenoid Valve Switch Off Time Out Of Range. P0335\-00 \- Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit. P1185 \- General Pressure Sensor Correlation. C0501, C0507, C050D, C0513 \- Wheel Speed Sensor Rationality Errors. In addition, customers may experience one of the following conditions: Less than desired idle performance. Intermittent elevated engine RPM at start up. Other enhancements included in this update: Min spark changes to prevent catalytic converter overheating. Active grill shutter diagnostics \(If equipped\). Electronic Start/Stop \(ESS\) improvements. Upshift quality improvement when engine is cold.
