Service bulletin 18058

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

18058 - Service Update. Certain vehicles may have been built with a missing high-speed controller area network (CAN) BUS bridge (jumper) wire at the body control module (BCM) connector. Vehicles without these circuits can have intermittent communication issues on the CAN BUS, affecting functionality of several electronic modules, leading to various electrical concerns including a walk home failure. Install missing circuits to BCM connector X6.
