# Service bulletin 18\-032\-14

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10137028
- Published by NHTSA: 2018\-05\-21
- Manufacturer's number: 18\-032\-14
- Manufacturer's date: 2014\-05\-10
- NHTSA component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\)

## NHTSA's summary

Flash: MIL Illumination. Includes Various Driveability Improvements This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module \(PCM\) with new software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp \(MIL\) illumination. Upon further investigation the Technician may find that the following Diagnostic Trouble Code has been set: P061A\- Level 2 torque performanceCustomers may also experience any of the following symptoms: Engine difficult to restart after cold or warm soak periods. \(This condition occurs in conjunction with the P061A DTC listed above\). \(Applies to vehicles built with 1234YF refrigerant \(sales code XFC\)\).Updating the PCM software will correct the conditions listed above.
