NHTSA's summary

New Safety Recall Advanced Communication ? P03020514 Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) announced a safety recall on certain 2014 model year (VF) RAM ProMaster vehicles. Some Ram ProMaster vehicles may have flexible rubber brake hose(s) that were damaged during the vehicle assembly process. A damaged flexible rubber brake hose(s) could cause a brake fluid leak and increase in the vehicle?s stopping distance. This could cause a crash without warning under certain driving conditions. Chrysler will conduct a voluntary safety recall on all involved vehicles to inspect the brake system flexible rubber hoses for damage. Flexible rubber brake hose(s) found with damage will be replaced. Dealers will be notified of the launch of this safety recall by way of established methods used in the past. Chrysler anticipates the launch of this safety recall in early March 2014. We ask that you please take the time to ensure that your personnel are aware of this communication and are prepared to execute a customer friendly process for inquiries on involved vehicles.
