## NHTSA's summary

New Safety Recall Advanced Communication ? P02020514 Chrysler Group LLC \(Chrysler\) announced a safety recall on certain 2014 model year \(VF\) RAM ProMaster vehicles. Some Ram ProMaster vehicles may experience a stuck accelerator pedal if the driver inadvertently applies an angle force to the accelerator pedal. This condition could result in a stuck accelerator pedal in the wide open throttle \(WOT\) position. This could cause a crash without warning under certain driving conditions. NOTE: The RAM ProMaster is equipped with a brake\-throttle override system. This enables brake pedal application to supersede any simultaneous accelerator pedal input, so the driver can bring the vehicle to a stop. Chrysler will conduct a voluntary safety recall on all involved vehicles to replace the accelerator pedal stop. Dealers will be notified of the launch of this safety recall by way of established methods used in the past. Chrysler anticipates the launch of this safety recall in early March 2014. We ask that you please take the time to ensure that your personnel are aware of this communication and are prepared to execute a customer friendly process for inquiries on involved vehicles.
