This is NOT a safety related defect or noncompliance. This document advises the OE's, Dealers, and Customers of a nuisance issue which will blow the protective fuse in the furnace or leave the furnace inoperative in a safe shut down state, in the event that the upper limit wires short against the exhaust vent tube, on furnace models with serial numbers between 73985322 and 81099541.
