# Service bulletin SSM 47099

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Some 2018 Mustang equipped with 5.0L engines and F\-150 equipped with 2.7L, 3.3L, 3.5L and 5.0L engines may exhibit illuminated Malfunction Indicator Light\(MIL\) with Diagnostic Trouble Code P0181\(Fuel Temperature Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance\) stored in Powertrain Control Module\(PCM\) memory. DTC may set if Key On Engine Running\(KOER\) diagnostic routine is performed with cold fuel\(Below 50F/10C\) in vehicle fuel tank. Refer to the Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnosis\(PC/ED\) Pin Point Test DD for normal diagnostics. If unable to determine root cause, do not replace fuel pressure/temperature sensor or Powertrain Control Module\(PCM\). Engineering is investigating, monitor OASIS for updates.
