Service bulletin TSB18-2052

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Some 2017-2018 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit a lack of heat on the driver side when the vehicle is operated in ambient temperatures below -20Å?C (4Å?F). This condition may be due to deposits from the engine coolant trapped in the heater core. Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
