Service bulletin 09-016-18-3428

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Some customers may complain that the driver's seat does not automatically move to the programmed position when unlocking the driver's door with the remote transmitter unlock button (1), unless the button is pressed repeatedly (more than two times). NOTE: The symptom occurs when the instrument cluster is in sleep mode. Sleep mode occurs when ten (10) minutes or more have passed after the doors are locked with the remote transmitter or request switch.
