Service bulletin SB No. 246
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
This Service Bulletin informs Suzuki dealers about the details of a customer satisfaction Service Campaign being conducted by Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. to replace the right handlebar switch assemby on affected motorcycles. Water can infiltrate the starter switch in the right handlebar switch assembly and cause a short circuit. If water remains on the electrical contacts of the starter switch, the engine may start automatically when turning the ignition key ON. The malfunction indicator light may also illuminate if the motorcycle continues to be ridden with this short circuit condition.
