NHTSA's summary
FML serial number prefix was not identified when submitted in February 2018 for the publications issued in January 2018. Fuel is leaking past the injector tip seal, into engine oil resulting in oil dilution with fuel. A newly designed double delta check seal and backing plate are undergoing field validation and bench tests at this time. Testing for both the field and lab will continue until test thresholds are met.
