Service bulletin T-SB-0128-13

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

As a result of the removal of the Short Pin, the power source to the steering angle sensor is cut off. When the Short Pin is reinstalled, the rear view monitor system will be operative, but it cannot display guidelines to assist parking operation because the center position is not recognized by the steering angle sensor. Please initialize the rear view monitor system after installing the Short Pin during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS).
