Some 2012 - 2013 model year Prius V vehicles may exhibit a rear brake groan or squeak noise when going forward or backing up when the brakes are cold. New Rear Brake Caliper Assemblies that include anti-squeal shims, brake pads, and pad support clips and NEW rear rotors have been developed to help address this condition.

T-SB-0125-20	2021-02-16. Service bulletin. TSB: Toyota models equipped with the Premium HDD Navigation (AVN/AW-EMV) system will periodically require an update to the Gracenote® database. Gracenote® includes detailed information for songs (genre, artist, song title, album name, etc.). The Gracenote® update will be included on the USB Drive Navigation Map Update SST. A Gracenote® update must be performed before a Navigation Map update. A Navigation Map update is not required to complete the Gracenote® update. Use the process described in this bulletin to perform the update.

T-TT-0603-20	2020-04-20. Service bulletin. TT: For proper calibration of the millimeter wave radar sensor, the vehicle must be on a level surface. If a level surface is not available, this tech tip should be used in conjunction with the repair manual to set the angle of the front millimeter wave radar sensor and reflector height before performing beam axis adjustment.

TSB: Some 2013 ? 2015 Prius PHV, Prius and 2013 ? 2016 Prius V vehicles may exhibit a vibration due to rough idle and/or tapping noise from the HV transaxle at cold start. The check engine light may also illuminate with (DTC) P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304 (Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected). The Engine Control Module/ECM (SAE Term: Powertrain Control Module/PCM) logic has been modified to reduce the possibility of this condition occurring. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address this condition.
T-TT-0010-10 Rev	2018-04-02. Service bulletin. Tech Tip: Low battery voltage can contribute to a MIL "ON" condition for P0335 (Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit) and/or P0340 (Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit) due to inconsistent rotational speed of the engine's crankshaft.

If a creak, tick, or rattle noise is heard at the top or bottom of the windshield, or at the top of the rear glass, the source of the noise may be the two stoppers bonded to the top of the windshield/rear glass, or the windshield retainers bonded to the lower edge of the windshield. This bulletin provides the recommended repair procedure to eliminate these types of noises from the windshield/rear glass area.
