# Service bulletin T\-TT\-0429\-16 Rev

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

TT: ?16\-17MY Tacoma customers may complain about a squeak noise from rear leaf springs when vehicle experiences any up and down movement. Sand, dirt and/or debris may enter the space between the silencer pad and contact surface of the leaf spring. When the vehicle rear suspension experiences any movement, friction is caused between the silencer pad and spring components, which may result in a squeak noise.
