Service bulletin 16-109-17R

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

All Models with TR 580 and TH58A CVT TRANSMISSIONS ONLY. This Service Information bulletin announces a design change to the service plugs used in some places on TR580 (and TH58A used in hybrid vehicles only) CVT transmissions. A new plug with a longer (14.7mm vs. 10mm on the old style) threaded portion is now available which further distributes the forces applied to the threads and decreases the possibility of damage to the transmission case and converter housing.
