NHTSA's summary
Newmar Corporation has decided that certain 2018 Bay Star and Bay Star Sport motorhomes fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, ?Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.? On certain motorhomes, the front side marker lights are not connected into the wiring harness. Additionally, if the headlight high beams are activated, only the high beam bulbs illuminate. The intention of the high beam function on the affected coaches is to have both the high beam and low beam bulbs illuminate together.
