NHTSA's summary
This Technical Service Bulletin describes the verification and resolution of the alignment arrows on aftertreatment diesel particulate filter (DPF) and aftertreatment decomposition tube are intentionally misaligned by approximately 10 degrees only on Pierce? firetruck applications. Misalignment of aftertreatment DPF and aftertreatment decomposition tube is required to allow for adequate aftertreatment system clearance in this application.This is a revision to a previously submitted communication.
