Dealer message - American Honda (AHM) is investigating certain 2010 CR-Vs & Accord L4s with a complaint of the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) on with the DTC P0420 (Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold) stored. To fully understand the cause of this condition, AHM would like to either inspect or collect specific parts from the vehicle prior to you attempting any further repair of any kind.

This can set DTCs P0301 No. 1 cylinder misfire detected, P0302 No. 2 cylinder misfire detected, P0303 No. 3 cylinder misfire detected, P0304 No. 4 cylinder misfire detected, and cause the MIL to come on.
