Owner Manual Addendum Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary ***** INFINITI is providing owners of approximately 12,000 MY2017 INFINITI QX30 vehicles with an addendum card to the Owner?s Manual. The addendum corrects the description of the Passenger Airbag status lamp operation. Clients will be asked to place the addendum card inside the Owner?s Manual. ***** What Retailers Should Do ***** 1. If a retailer receives an addendum card for a vehicle they have retailed, currently have in their preowned inventory, or placed into INFINITI Courtesy Vehicle (ICV) Service, the retailer should either forward the owner?s manual addendum to the current owner or add the addendum to the owner?s manual of any vehicles they currently control. 2. Clients receiving this addendum card have been advised to insert this card into their owner?s manual. SERVICE COMM will not be active for this campaign.

Use the vehicle tables in this bulletin to determine the current software version, if the AV Control Unit requires a software version update, and which procedure to use to update the AV Control Unit. The software updates in this bulletin are to address stability improvements and “bug” fixes. IMPORTANT: If the client is experiencing a software related concern, refer to ITB21-011 to verify if the client concern is a hardware or software related issue. If the concern is a software related issue, review the information in this bulletin to update the AV Control Unit as needed.

PG7B5 Driver Side Curtain Air Bag Campaign Quality Review ***** Retailer Announcement ***** INFINITI is committed to the safety, security and satisfaction of our clients and is conducting a quality review of specific repairs for a previously completed campaign (PG7B5). If the VIN displays QA campaign ID PC834, retailers should perform the procedure attached to this communication even if the National Service History indicates the remedy action was previously performed for the vehicle. The VIN identified with this QA campaign ID is being inspected to ensure the recall remedy was performed and documented in accordance with INFINITI’s quality standards. ***** What Retailers Should Do ***** PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED PROCEDURE: 1. Verify if vehicle is affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History – Open Campaigns I.D. PC834. 2. Retailers should complete this action on both a retailed vehicle or a previously owned vehicle within retailer inventory. • Retailers should follow all stop sale and do not drive, loan, sell, or trade instructions for campaigns. 3. Retailers will need to file the appropriate claim using applicable Op Code information in the repair procedure attached to this announcement to close the campaign.
