NHTSA's summary
This Service Advisory informs affected customers that MCI and Detroit Diesel have been taking steps to correct fault codes reported by the Detroit DD13 Engine Motor Control Module (MCM) and Aftertreatment Control Module (ACM) resulting in Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL), Check Engine Lamp (CEL), and eventual engine de-rate and that a final ACM software update has been created that should begin in May 2018.
