NHTSA's summary
High oil passing into the air system has been reported after installing areman air compressor on C13 (LEE) or C15 (SDP) truck engines. Supplier design and manufacture quality issue identified as another root cause of excessive oil passing in the air system. A full validation in our facility done recently demonstrated the new piston and rings from new suppliers will significantly reduce oil passing and cylinder scoring.
