This Technical Service Bulletin describes the verification and resolution of White Residue / Diesel Exhaust Fluid \(DEF\) Staining On Exhaust as caused by urea not being decomposed/atomized to gaseous state completely. Presence of white staining/DEF staining on the exhaust stack does not impact performance of engine and aftertreatment, impact the durability of the aftertreatment, nor increase DEF consumption.
