Service bulletin ABS01092018901
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
Dealer message - Today, we notified the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or NHTSA of our intent to recall approximately 700-thousand more front passenger inflators here in the U.S. ? I?ve shared numerous times since May of 2016 that NHTSA issued a directive for the five-phased recall of all non-desiccated inflators from the market over a period of several years. NHTSA ordered these actions after scientific studies concluded that the non-desiccated ammonium nitrate propellant used in many Takata airbag inflators can degrade over time due to temperature cycling and environmental moisture. ?
