Service bulletin 167-B1802-01
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
SA-17-036 P24FE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE. If a truck comes in with the P24FE DTC, what you need to do is clear the codes. Clear the SCR related memory and if the P24FE doesn't reset, release the truck to the customer. It is no longer necessary to do the two manual regens as previously advised. If the truck does happen to come back with the P24FE reset or if you get any other trucks that have that code, we need to have you create a Tech Assist case as we are tracking this activity in the field. Engineering is currently attempting to verify this issue and there will be more information to follow when it becomes available.

The document is the manufacturer's. This site does not hold it. NHTSA files a document at one of these two addresses; we have not asked NHTSA which.
