# Service bulletin GCUS\-3\-766

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

16089 Sevice Update \- On certain vehicles a bubble may have formed during the molding process of the fuel tank, which results in a thin wall condition near an attachment tab. The thin wall area of the tank may result in a fuel leak resulting in a fuel odor, or fuel loss to the ground and/or a check engine light being illuminated. Dealers are to replace the fuel tank.
