# Service bulletin GCUS\-3\-564

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

24500 \- Service Update. Vehicles equipped with power adjustable driver or passenger seat cushion structures, may have a condition where the two front bolts that secure the track to the cushion, were hand started and not torqued to specification. If the bolts are not torqued to specification, the occupant may feel play in the seat and hear a rattle. Over time, the bolts may back out and increase the risk of injury to the seat occupant in a vehicle rear impact crash. Dealers are to do an inspection of bolt to determine if torqued to specification, replace bolt if necessary.
