Service bulletin GCUS-3-547
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
29110 - Customer Satisfaction Program. (Customer Letter Mailing) Certain 2014-2016 model year Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra model vehicles equipped with a full size spare tire and road wheel (SEO 00A) may have been built without a Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) sensor installed in the spare tire. If the spare tire was to be used and the TPMS programmed to coordinate with the wheels in use, a tire pressure monitor system error would be displayed due to the lack of a sensor in the spare tire. Dearler are to add a sensor to the spare tire.

| PIT4506G | 2024-03-18. Service bulletin. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician that some owners of Heavy Duty Trucks and Utilities may ask if they can lower their tire pressures. Tire pressures being set to the "Tire and Loading Label" will ensure the safe handling and ride characteristics of the truck and should not be lowered. |
