Service bulletin VOS-13-15

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Service Information (Required Open Internet Addresses (URLs)): The ability to communicate with VWAG Group Systems and perform all necessary GeKo Functions in ODIS Service, (GFF, SVM, Keys, etc.) and to utilize the Netviewer one2one remote control client requires certain Internet addresses to remain open on your Dealer Network. The majority of dealers have an open network, which allows access to ALL Internet sites, but recently Volkswagen noticed an increase in restricted Internet access at some dealers. This document informs the required Web addresses that allow your diagnostic devices to communicate smoothly with VWAG.
