Service bulletin AVT-13-10

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

The ability to communicate with VWGoA and perform all necessary GeKo Functions in ODIS Service, VAS-PC (GFF, SVM, Keys, etc.) and to utilize the Netviewer one2one remote control client requires certain Internet addresses to remain open on your Dealer Network. The majority of dealers have an open network, which allows access to ALL Internet sites, but recently we noticed an increase in restricted Internet access at some of our dealers. Below are the required Web addresses that allow your VAS Tester to communicate smoothly with VWGoA. Note: Please contact your Dealer IT Department or In-House IT professional if you feel these Web addresses are being restricted.

The document is the manufacturer's. This site does not hold it. NHTSA files a document at one of these two addresses; we have not asked NHTSA which.
