## NHTSA's summary

Effective March 2012, Midtronics obsoleted the MCR tester platform. Audi dealer battery tester models MCR340A and MCR340AKT are included in this platform range. Due to decreased demand and lack of availability of parts for repairs, Midtronics US/Canada will discontinue service of all MCR battery testers effective October 31, 2014. Audi dealers that currently use MCR340A or MCR340AKT models are affected.
