# Service bulletin Update Bulletin

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

On Audi A3 vehicles with 2.0 ltr TDI engine manufactured within a specific period it is possible that the engine control module may sporadically cause an excessive amount of current to be drawn from the vehicle battery after the vehicle is parked. This Update is in effect until removed.
