## NHTSA's summary

This communication is sent on behalf of the Warranty Parts Return Center \(WPRC\). When parts are requested and returned to the WPRC, they must be complete and packaged to prevent damage in transit. Special care must be taken when handling certain parts such as fuel injection components, sensitive electronic components, instruments, and air conditioning to name just a few, to prevent damage and/or contamination. Damaged and/or contaminated parts cannot be forwarded to the supplier or factory for further analysis, and our engineers are unable to perform proper part evaluations on those parts.
