## NHTSA's summary

Supersedes AOS\-13\-16 due to revised and additional information. If ODIS Service becomes corrupted or ceases to function, it may be necessary to uninstall and reinstall the application software using the latest "installation version" DVD. If a Windows® operating system malfunction affects ODIS Service performance, it may be necessary to recover the diagnostic device operating system, and then reinstall the ODIS Service application software using the latest "installation version" DVD. The document outlines the processes needed for both scenarios.
