# Service bulletin V921402 2037322

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Technical Bulletin \(Washer Level Sensor\): The issue is caused by the outside influence of non\-approved formulated washer fluids. Non\-approved washer fluids leave a clear film coating on the sensor probes, insulating the probes so they cannot read the fluid level. This This document informs Validate the washer reservoir is full with the proper washer solvent. Refer to Elsa for proper fluid type and fluid quantities under repair manual, maintenance, fluid capacity table. Non\-approved fluids can cause residues to form on the sensor which causes the washer fluid lamp to remain on when reservoir is full. The document also contains a photo of the sensor and an example of an approved cleanser
