Service bulletin VWR-14-02
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
Warranty Parts Return Center Communication (Important Update to Warranty Parts Return Process for Freight with FedEx Freight): FedEx Freight service is used for shipping heavy items to the Warranty Parts Return Center for quality analysis. FedEx Freight utilizes a Bill of Lading for transportation as opposed to a standard shipping label used by FedEx Express or Ground service. In order to ensure that the correct delivery address is visible to the FedEx driver at the time of pickup, dealers must attach a copy of the Bill of Lading from the Warranty Parts Shipping Portal directly to the freight package with the consignee (delivery address) visible. This document also gives an example of the shipping label
The document
The document is the manufacturer's. This site does not hold it. NHTSA files a document at one of these two addresses; we have not asked NHTSA which.
