Service bulletin DLR MSG - Acura

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Dealer message - Acura has begun notifying clients affected by service bulletins 14-029, Recall: Front Driver?s Airbag Inflator May Produce Excessive Pressure After Long-Term Exposure to High Absolute Humidity Recall, and 14-030, Recall: Front Passenger?s Airbag Inflator May Produce Excessive Pressure After Long-Term Exposure to High Absolute Humidity on a very limited basis. To support this notification, both bulletins have been revised to include warranty, parts and repair information for affected vehicles. Parts supply for these vehicles remains very tight, and not all parts may be initially available to repair all vehicles. Once parts supply stabilizes, Acura will issue an additional iN message notifying all dealers of part availability. Note that parts supply does exist for the populations of clients being contacted; Acura will not notify clients requiring repairs that cannot be completed due to parts supply issues.
