# Service bulletin A011383 2033001\-

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10123886
- Published by NHTSA: 2017\-11\-17
- Manufacturer's number: A011383 2033001\-
- Manufacturer's date: 2013\-03\-29

## NHTSA's summary

MIL on. DTC P0491 and P0492 \(Secondary Air System Insufficient Flow, Bank 1/2\) are stored at the same time. Mileage is greater than 15,000 miles. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction.

- [A801406 2033806\-](/bulletins/10122297.md), 2017-11-08, Service bulletin: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 80 number 13\-05 dated September 11, 2013. Malfunction Indicator Lamp is on. Climate system heating performance is insufficient. Coolant level warning is on. Engine temperature is elevated. "Limp Home" mode is active. Faults are stored in the transmission control module \(address word 02\). Coolant loss is found from one or more control valves: N82, N509, or N488. Coolant may have migrated into the wiring harness through the connector and into various control units. Climate system heating performance is insufficient due to coolant loss, or due to a faulty N82 control valve. Inspection of the coolant control valves N82, N509, or N488 reveals the presence of coolant inside the electrical connector as shown in the illustration. The connectors, wiring harness, and/or connected control units may have been damaged from exposure to coolant.
- [A191449 2036852\-](/bulletins/10122284.md), 2017-11-08, Service bulletin: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM:FAN. Cooling fans stay on after engine is turned off. The cooling fans may operate for up to 10 minutes after the engine is turned off. This function is mapped to specific driving patterns and vehicle operating modes \(for example, DPF regeneration\). This is normal operation, and no parts should be replaced.
