# Service bulletin A341316 2034108\-

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10123582
- Published by NHTSA: 2017\-11\-17
- Manufacturer's number: A341316 2034108\-
- Manufacturer's date: 2013\-06\-10
- NHTSA component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL

## NHTSA's summary

Customer may report that reverse gear sporadically cannot be selected. A message in the instrument panel may read "Please use brake and select gear again". Reverse gear can then be selected. The complaint cannot always be reproduced. Faults are not stored in the transmission control module \(TCM\) \(address word 02\) or in the TCM 2 \(address word C2\). Diagnostics in the gearbox control unit sporadically prevent the first selection of the reverse gear.

- [A7024882039016\_2](/bulletins/10250320.md), 2024-03-06, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. This bulletin provides information when there are noises in the instrument panel.
- [A9023562032113\_8](/bulletins/10246152.md), 2023-12-06, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. This bulletin provides general information about the outside air temperature reading.
- [A1720062028440\_5](/bulletins/10177300.md), 2020-08-06, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:INSTRUMENT PANEL:FUEL GAUGE:FUEL LEVEL FLOAT/SENSOR/SENDING UNIT. This informational bulletin explains when the range display is empty in the on\-board computer.
- [A701440 2039016\-](/bulletins/10124880.md), 2017-12-05, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. The customer hears creaking noises from the instrument panel, particularly over rough roads. These noises may be caused by contact between the instrument panel carrier and an adjustment cam used in the assembly process in production.
- [A171568 2028440\-](/bulletins/10123653.md), 2017-11-17, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL; FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 17 number 14\-49 dated April 3, 2014. When the vehicle is completely refueled, the vehicle range \(?distance to empty?\) that is displayed is different than the vehicle range that was displayed the last time the vehicle was completely refueled. The displayed vehicle range drops inconsistently. After the vehicle is refueled, the displayed vehicle range does not change for a long period of time. When the vehicle is driven on hilly roads for a long period of time, the displayed vehicle range suddenly changes by a significant amount. There are no DTCs related to fuel senders stored in the instrument cluster control module, J285 \(address word 17\). This condition does not involve or affect the accuracy of the fuel level indicator, but only the estimated distance to empty display on the on\-board computer.
