TSB_SST067_R1	2021-12-01. Service bulletin. This bulletin provides information regarding test procedure of the Bearing Clearance Tester (BCT) Special Service Tool (SST). The SST comes pre-calibrated from the supplier however, in some cases, due to variable shop compressor air pressure, the SST may need to be re-calibrated to ensure that the tool provides accurate readings when testing the engine rod bearing wear. The calibration and BCT measuring point maintenance is included in this bulletin.

PITSTOP: FRONT LICENSE PLATE AND MOUNTING BRACKET POSITION ON VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AEB - On 2017 MY Sportage (QL) vehicles equipped with Autonomous Emergency Brake (AEB), the front license plate bracket is installed in one of two different positions, depending on whether the vehicle is equipped with 2WD or All-Wheel-Drive (AWD). Follow the instructions in this bulletin to ensure that the AEB system is not being impaired by an incorrect license plate installation.

The concerns above may happen when the communication between the Sirius XM Satellite and the head unit is not initializing correctly. To correct this concern, a "signal refresh" is required.
