This Technical Service Bulletin describes the verification and resolution to cracks found on single module aftertreatment selective catalytic reduction \(SCR\) insulation heat shields. The aftertreatment SCR is not to be replaced for insulation heat shield cracking. Aftertreatment SCR insulation heat shield cracking does not impact emissions or engine operation and is an aesthetic issue only.
