Service bulletin V501401 2038981

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Technical Bulletin (Front Fender - Corrosion on Wheel Arch): The wheel liner touches the arch area of the fender and rubs off the paint in the contact area. The corrosion is caused by dirt accumulations and movements of the wheel liner. The document informs how to identify affected parts. It then gives direction on servicing the issue

The document

• NHTSA's copy of the document (PDF)
• If that address does not open, try this one

The document is the manufacturer's. This site does not hold it. NHTSA files a document at one of these two addresses; we have not asked NHTSA which.
