122-S7H6V-032018-03-13. Service bulletin. Concerns: Battery trickle charging with "Charge-o-mat"may time out within a short period of time. The trickle charging will thus end prematurely. Thismay result in a dead battery. Information: The ?Charge-o-mat? device recommended by Porsche can be connected to the plug socket in the above-mentioned vehicles again in accordance with instructions in order to trickle-charge the battery (e.g. in the showroom) if: ? the gateway control unit is re-coded beforehand using the PIWIS Tester with test software version 36.800.030 installed.
122-B2R3T-102017-11-08. Service bulletin. There is increased friction in the air spring compressor valves at temperatures below ?13° F (?25° C). This can result in a situation in which the maximum control current is not sufficient to actuate the valves. As a result, a warning message will be displayed in the instrument cluster and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) will stop working temporarily. Re-program PASM control unit using the PIWIS Tester with software version 33.010.030 (PIWIS Tester 3) or version 17.100.030 (PIWIS Tester II) or a higher software version installed.
122-L6F9K-072017-10-27. Service bulletin. If the software versions are no longer compatible, it may no longer be possible for the DME control unit to communicate with the instrument cluster via the gateway control unit.
122-Y8E4C-102017-10-15. Service bulletin. Subject: Outside temperature display in the instrument cluster Information: Customers complain that the outside temperature value in the instrument cluster is implausible and does not change.
122-B3Y9V-102017-10-15. Service bulletin. Concern: Coding failures of the instrument cluster. Information: Ensure the Auto Memory option is deselected prior to replacing or coding an Instrument Cluster on all Macan models. Due to the numerous options and software available to support those options, coding faults can occur. To turn off Auto Memory through the Instrument Cluster; Select Setting-> Locking-> Auto Memory. If the vehicle is not equipped with Auto Memory, no work around is necessary.
122-B7U4T-052017-10-15. Service bulletin. Customer Concern: Certain vehicle systems have unwanted, unpredictable behavior. Technical Concern: The symptoms are difficult to diagnose. There may be multiple symptoms intermittently affecting multiple systems. Though this is not an exhaustive list, some common failure modes are: ? Start/stop issues ? Power windows not fully returning to the parked position after automatic preopening ? PCM audio stopping during a start/stop cycle Ultimately, the technician determines that low 12-volt battery voltage is the underlying root cause of the unwanted behavior. The technician corrects the battery?s low voltage. Consequently, the unwanted behavior ends.
