# Service bulletin 122\-B2R3T\-10

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 10122088
- Published by NHTSA: 2017\-11\-08
- Manufacturer's number: 122\-B2R3T\-10
- Manufacturer's date: 2016\-09\-19
- NHTSA component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL

## NHTSA's summary

There is increased friction in the air spring compressor valves at temperatures below ?13° F \(?25° C\). This can result in a situation in which the maximum control current is not sufficient to actuate the valves. As a result, a warning message will be displayed in the instrument cluster and Porsche Active Suspension Management \(PASM\) will stop working temporarily. Re\-program PASM control unit using the PIWIS Tester with software version 33.010.030 \(PIWIS Tester 3\) or version 17.100.030 \(PIWIS Tester II\) or a higher software version installed.

- [122\-X5B2V\-10](/bulletins/10122095.md), 2017-11-08, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY:CABLES; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. Due to incorrect fitting of the front hood lock cable, there is a possibility that the cable will rub against the microswitch for the hood lock. This will damage the microswitch. As a result, the warning "Hood open" will be displayed in the instrument cluster.
- [122\-L6F9K\-07](/bulletins/10120789.md), 2017-10-27, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. If the software versions are no longer compatible, it may no longer be possible for the DME control unit to communicate with the instrument cluster via the gateway control unit.
- [122\-Y8E4C\-10](/bulletins/10119319.md), 2017-10-15, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. - [122\-B3Y9V\-10](/bulletins/10119315.md), 2017-10-15, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. Concern: Coding failures of the instrument cluster. Information: Ensure the Auto Memory option is deselected prior to replacing or coding an Instrument Cluster on all Macan models. Due to the numerous options and software available to support those options, coding faults can occur. To turn off Auto Memory through the Instrument Cluster; Select Setting\-\> Locking\-\> Auto Memory. If the vehicle is not equipped with Auto Memory, no work around is necessary.
