Hard start condition caused by spark plugs fouling. A ticking noise coming from the top of the engine area. The ticking noise is heard particularly at idle(EMEA and APAC only).

Some customers may experience the following condition:When pressing the SPORT button on the console, the SPORT mode is not activated. Hard to start condition at low temperatures 10-15°C (50-60°F) and filled with 70~80% ethanol fuel (DF7 Transmission Sales Code only). Engine experiencing a hard re-start after being shut off for short periods of time. Engine Stop/Start (ESS) remains in stop condition and they must manually restart the engine due to either a door or the hood being opened while in ESS mode.
