Service bulletin Dealer Letter-Da

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Communication to dealer that a Customer Satisfaction Campaign with customer notification is taking place. Dealers must ensure that every affected inventory vehicle with "2016 MY Volkswagen Vehicles with the MIB2 MQB Radio (Modular Infotainment System)" has this campaign completed before delivery to consumers. The campain is to update the software and inquire customers on their views after the update.

The document

• NHTSA's copy of the document (PDF)
• If that address does not open, try this one

The document is the manufacturer's. This site does not hold it. NHTSA files a document at one of these two addresses; we have not asked NHTSA which.
