We are aware that many non-functioning VAS 5054A Transmitter Heads submitted for warranty replacement are genuine devices that exhibit physical damage, tampering, damaged OBDII /USB connections, or are non-genuine devices*. VAS 5054A Transmitter Heads contain no user-serviceable parts! Any non-functioning 5054A submitted for warranty replacements that are determined to have physical damage, tampering or are non-genuine devices*, are not eligible for replacement. The cost to replace damaged or non-genuine devices submitted for warranty replacement must be assumed by the dealer.
