# Service bulletin 17 2833

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

This is the repair instructions for advisory 17\-283. It has been determined some 2017 Raptor and Carbon models were built without removing a piece of cardboard temporarily used as protection for the return section of the furnace during the manufacturing process. The cardboard protection needs to be removed to allow the furnace to function properly.
