Service bulletin 167-T1407-12

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

TT-14-024 When disconnecting the DEF injector connector on the vehicle, there is potential that the connector may break due to improperly removing the new style connector. A flat-blade screwdriver will be inserted through an entry canal on the mating face of the connector, which is used to lift and release the lock tang. Once the lock tang is released, the connector can be removed from the DEF injector using a pulling motion.
