Some 2017\-2018 Escape and MKC vehicles equipped with 2.0L Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection \(GTDI\) engine built on or before 18\-Sep\-2017 may exhibit a MIL illuminated with DTC P04DB \(crankcase ventilation system disconnected\) in powertrain control module\(PCM\) memory. Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
