## NHTSA's summary

TT16\-009 Current production DEF injectors contain enhancements including improvements to the aluminum housing. When replacing the DEF injector, it is necessary to install the complete DEF injector assembly \(Part no. S17J0\-E0020\) onto the vehicle, not only the center injector portion. Replacing only the center portion of the DEF injector and reusing the existing housing WILL result in warranty charge back.
